The metal staircase is fabricated from 6mm mild steel, which was folded to form the treads. It was assembled on site in three parts. The staircase is designed to appear to be light and floating, this was possible due to the inherent structural integrity of the steel. The design is in stark contrast with the warmth of the polished stone floor and surrounding finishes
